Shoei was founded in 1954 with their first factory originally being built in 1959 to supply construction helmets. By 1960 they had decided to focus on providing the highest quality motorcycle helmets especially manufactured for racing.

WHAT MAKES SHOEI HELMETS SO SPECIAL?

Shoei helmets are meticulously put together and parts of the process are still completed by hand, including the inspection of the completed helmet. This means that faulty helmets are almost unheard of. The helmets are also subject to stringent safety testing to ensure they are of highest quality and then shipped directly from the factory to Honda of Bournemouth.
